Good afternoon!
Today starts the A to Z blogging challenge!! I'm very excited and nervous to start this blogging journey. Excited because I'll have done so many blog entries by the end of the month and nervous because what if I can't find anything to write about on a certain letter? Like X or Q?!?!?!

Anyways, I'm going to start the letter A with my adventure at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in DC. Now this adventure started on March 17th so I'm like two weeks late about writing it but I wanted to save this post for this date. Now on March 16th, the video game exhibit officially opened up to the public and it's open until September 30th. The first three days of the exhibit had video games you could play with in the courtyard, an 'interactive video game', some arts and crafts where you make pixel works of either Mario or the Pixel Mario flower and then they also had a photoshoot area.

The interactive real life video game. Can't tell but the guys in green are throwing balls at a little girl and she has to dodge them. |

In this part the little girl has to jump over these stick things. |
Then we head up to the 3rd floor where the actual exhibit was being held.

Now, I kind of expected more out of the exhibit. I thought there was going to be an actual display with 80 of the greatest video games but I did not see any mention of that. The exhibit is also pretty small so I wouldn't fly in from California just to see it. If you live in the area, it's worth checking out because it's free but if you don't then don't bother making trip because it's not too interactive and not too much information/art on video games.
